(Sacramento) Today, Assemblymember Robert Rivas took the Oath of Office to become the 71st Speaker of the California State Assembly. Since 2018, Speaker Rivas has represented parts of San Benito and Monterey Counties. He has dedicated his career to helping our state's most vulnerable populations and communities.
