“Make a Difference Day” in Logan Heights

WHAT:  Rebuilding Together San Diego will be revitalizing homes in the community of Logan Heights.  Five homes will receive renovations including painting, landscaping, carpentry, electrical and other repairs. Volunteers will be employees of the event sponsor, Cricket Wireless and many others from the community.

Along with the home renovation projects, there will also be a Resource Fair which includes document shredding provided free of charge by Shred-It, Grid Alternatives Solar Energy Panel Program, SDG&E-CARE and Energy Saving Program, light bulb exchange, information from the office of Councilmember Alvarez and other programs and services to assist low to moderate income families living throughout San Diego.

Make a Difference Day is a national celebration of neighbors helping neighbors.
