SAN DIEGO, CA (February 9, 2016) – Councilmember Alvarez has issued the following statement in response to City Council’s approval today of the Rebuild San Diego Charter Amendment.
“The proposal considered by the City Council today does not solve the $1.4 billion funding gap and will not rebuild San Diego. San Diegans need their parks, streets, sidewalks, libraries and other public projects fixed now – not decades from now.”
